At Otabazaar, your satisfaction is very important to us. We aim to deliver products in perfect condition and exactly as described.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, we are here to help.
1. Return & Exchange Eligibility
You may request a Return or Exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery only in the following cases:
The product received is broken, damaged, or defective.
The product received does not match the description or specifications shown at the time of purchase.
Requests made after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted.
To be eligible:
The product must be unused and in its original condition.
All original packaging, accessories, manuals, tags, and invoice must be available.
The product should not be physically damaged due to misuse or improper handling.
2. How to Request a Return or Exchange

3. Exchange Policy
Eligible products can be exchanged for the same item, subject to stock availability.
If the replacement product is unavailable, you may choose a full refund instead.
Exchange will be processed after successful pickup and quality inspection of the returned product.
Replacement delivery timelines may vary depending on location and stock availability.
4. Refund Policy
Refund will be initiated only after the returned product is picked up and successfully inspected.
Refund processing time: 3–7 working days after approval.
Refund Mode:
Prepaid Orders: Refund will be credited to the original payment method.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: You will receive a secure link via email to provide bank details for refund transfer.
5. Order Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
Once the order is shipped or handed over to our courier partner, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
If a prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed within 3–7 working days.
6. Non-Returnable Situations
Return or exchange will not be accepted if:
The request is made after 7 days of delivery.
The product has been used, altered, or damaged due to customer handling.
Serial numbers, tags, or original packaging are missing.
Damage is caused due to improper installation or misuse.
7. Deductions (If Applicable)
In rare cases, shipping charges, handling costs, or other operational expenses may be deducted, if applicable and legally permissible, before processing the refund.
8. Compliance & Customer Rights
This policy is governed by the applicable laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

9. Order Cancellation by Otabazaar
Otabazaar.com reserves the right to cancel any order before dispatch due to valid reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, technical issues, payment problems, incorrect address, or any other unavoidable situation.
Please note that placing an order or receiving an order confirmation message does not mean the order is finally accepted. An order is confirmed only after it is dispatched from our warehouse.
If Otabazaar cancels the order:
- Cash on Delivery (COD):No refund is required as no payment was collected.
- Prepaid Orders:The full amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. The time taken to reflect in the account depends on the bank or payment provider.
Otabazaar will inform the customer about the cancellation through email, SMS, or phone call.
Otabazaar shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising due to cancellation of the order.
